As Time flew by, I turned 10. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.
I would cry sometimes. I would laugh for no reason, which is true by the way some people would just stare at me and think ‘why are you laughing’.
Being that age was a bit tough, trying not to take everything too seriously; was just a bit hard.
My 11th birthday rolled around and I started learning more about my life a bit better, but bit by bit I got some help along the way.
I may have had some hard times and may have reacted a lot, but as soon as I knew it, I had turned 12. I had a lot of things to say, I had a lot of words that I still didn’t understand.
Courageous for example, it means to not be deterred by danger or pain. That word stood out for me as when I was shy I couldn’t speak up for myself.
Now as a 15 year old and going on 16 in 3 months time, it doesn’t matter how old you are or how you look; it’s who you choose to be.
I wear a ring that is moulded as a crown on my finger and every time I look at it, it reminds me that I am not alone. That I’m not just an ordinary girl, that lives from place to place. I am a courageous person that has a heart full of colour and new life.
